Green Bowl Beach is located in Bali and is regarded as one of the best kept secrets of the island. The daily visitor turnover is around 25 , this is mainly due to its location , as it is located in an isolated region of the island. The name Green bowl was given to the beach because during low tides the rocks are visible and are in then shape of a bowl with the overlooking hills looking lush and green.
Bali being the popular tourist destination it is not in short supply of accommodation options. Luxury hotels Bali are patronized by many who visit the island. One of the key hotels of such nature highlighted by past tourist is Le Meridien Bali Jimbaran. Designed to give the ultimate Balinese experience the rooms are modern to suit the current age. The hotel is in close proximity to the airport and to many of Bali’s key attractions.
The Green Bowl beach is located behind the hill of Ungasan in Jimbaran Bali. The trek to the beach has been one of the reasons most tourists don’t make it here, to get to the beach one has to take a flight of steps to the bottom of the hills. Regarded as a surfer’s paradise the beach also offers breath taking views. Apart from surfing one can also engage in snorkeling swimming or just lie on the beach while enjoying the panaromic views and tanning in the Bali sun.
There is very little mention about the beach in publications , however Green Bowl is considered as one of the less crowded beaches in Bali and as one of its hidden treasures. Green Bowl always manages to make it to the list of the hidden beaches of Bali ,among others of such nature. Other beaches that are not known to the tourist include Balangan, Amed and Dream beach among others.
