Where is it?
The beach is located within the Mueang Phuket District, that’s home to many cool attractions such as the Big Buddha, the Phuket Trickeye Museum, Chalong Temple and much more. Due to the high number of attraction here including the Ao Sane Beach, some Phuket Luxury Hotels the likes of the Anantara Layan Phuket Resort, arrange tours so you can get yourself a good deal. The 200-metre beach is almost hidden amidst lush forests but there is a well-marked path that starts from the northern end of the Nai Harn Beach.
Serene Escape
The biggest allure of the Ao Sane Beach is that it’s secluded most of the time. This is owing to the near-hidden status that we mentioned before. If you’re tired of the big crowds at the most popular Phuket beaches, Ao Sane is the place to be.
What Can You Do?
Once the tide is in, Ao Sane Beach is perfect for a little adventure of snorkelling. The waters here are home to an array of colourful fish. Look out for and be careful to not step on the spiny sea urchins. Ao Sane is also great for scuba diving and kayaking. If you’re not into any of the above, now worries, just lie down on the beach, dip your toes into the powdery soft sands, and chill!
Beach Facilities
Thankfully, Ao Sane Beach is not completely secluded for there are more than a few restaurants located along the beach to head over to when you want to grab some snacks and drinks. Some of these restaurants also have sun loungers, showers, and toilets. However, what adds greatly to the appeal of Ao Sane Beach is that unlike most beaches, there are no hawkers to annoy you-so, perfect serenity!
