For any tourist heading to Thailand, there are numerous coastlines to choose from with white sand coasts and aqua marine waters. Nopparathara Beach is situated approximately 18 kilometres west of the better-known Krabi Town and neighboring Ao Nang. This calm seaside is located inside the Hat Nopparat Thara-Koh Phi Phi National Park and boasts of a stretch of sandy coastline, which is almost three-kilometres long. It is lined with casuarina trees providing a beautiful setting. This is one of the best beaches for anyone who prefers to sit under a tree and read a book or just laze about under the shade of a tree. These trees provide natural shade.
Similar to a majority of the coasts in Krabi’s, here the tourist will not find a large number of beach umbrellas and deckchairs dotting the shore because it is less crowded. During the low tide sometimes it is possible to walk all the way to Koh Kao Pak Klong Island located in the bay. It is very popular both amongst the local crowd who enjoy a good picnic and also amongst those who prefer to enjoy a relaxing day out swimming, eating and simply lazing under the sun.
