The Seychelles Islands are some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world, and has made this nation into one of the most popular tourism destinations in the world. Praslin, despite being the second largest island, is its biggest tourism hotspot which means there’s many a hotel Praslin, Seychelles has to offer such as the Berjaya Praslin Resort.
Given that the Seychelles Islands are examples of tropical paradise there are many beautiful beaches to be found, enveloped by lush jungle. Anse Lazio is a half-mile stretch of beach that has been the consistent recipient of many awards, with countless people labelling it the most beautiful beach in the world. Although this is an undisputable fact, Anse Lazio’s recognition has led to it becoming popular, and consequently, crowded.
As a result, there’s one place that is just as beautiful but allows you to get some privacy and tranquillity. This place is Anse Georgette. It is a secluded stretch of beach with sands so pristine you will never find a coral or a stone. The waters that greet the sands are also a perfect shade of transparent turquoise.
The beach is also completely undeveloped, so you won’t find any architectural eyesores in any way negatively affecting the gorgeous tropical views. Due to these attributes, many would label it as the best beach that the Seychelles Islands have to offer.
The waters around Anse Georgette however can be quite rough, and it would be wise to avoid swimming in them. The currents are particularly strong and are known to be capable of pulling large men into the sea.
If you’re a lover of beaches then the Seychelles Islands have a vast selection for you to choose from, but if you love seclusion as much as the sands, then Anse Georgette is the place for you.
